Training course on somatic cell nuclear transfer technique

From 1/12/2016 to 20/3/2017, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung – staff of Institute of Biotechnology (IBT) went to Laboratory of Animal Reproduction, Faculty of Bioscience and Bioindustry (Ishii campus), Tokushima University to study on somatic cell nuclear transfer technique. During 3 months and 20 days studying and working in the lab, under the guidance and great support of Professor Otoi and his colleagues, she completed her course with good results. She started working well with in-vitro fertilization techniques, and the rate of blastocysts collected in her experiment was more than 20%. At the same time, she practiced cloning techniques using somatic embryo culture and the blastocyst rate was approximately 10%.
