Some updated project activities in IBT

        Up to May 2017, new equipments have been transferred, installed, and utilized for project’s activities at the Institute of Biotechnology. Currently, new lots of Ban sperm: TLB-008, BAN-001 and BAN-002, produced in cooperation with NIAS-V (Dr. Phan Le Son, CMU1) last January and February, are now subjected to evaluation of fertility after thawing. The system of in vitro production at IBT is stably effective with a blastocyst rate of approximately 30% for Landrace. Ms Nguyen Thi Nhung, MSc., has completed the training course on cloning in Japan. She is now working with other colleagues to re-establish a cloning system with new equipments.
